For the development and training of AI tools where all data is anonymsed before creating synthetic data sets for training and development purposes - ensuring no personal information is identifiable. Patterns, trends and characteristics of educator and learner behaviors are then modelled to help build and train AI models for example early markers for dyslexia or areas where additional insights might be provided to the educator or the learner.

To communicate with you about your use of the Service, including providing technical support and responding to inquiries and feedback.

To comply with our legal obligations, including assisting law enforcement agencies and competent authorities where required by applicable law.

Terms & Conditions 


Please read the following terms and conditions that will serve as a legal agreement between EIT (Early Intervention Tools Ltd) and you in the use of this website and in the usage of the ALPACA assessments.

Responsibility for your account concerning confidentiality, password, purchasing, and unauthorised access belongs to you. EIT (Early Intervention Tools Ltd) must be notified immediately of changes to your registered details. EIT (Early Intervention Tools Ltd) reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts or access to its website.

Customer registration with EIT (Early Intervention Tools Ltd)
As well as creating an online account, all customers must register with us for your online order to be dispatched. This is a one-off process, and in most cases, will be completed without us needing to contact you. However, we may ask you to demonstrate your professional qualifications if you are new to EIT (Early Intervention Tools Ltd) and are trying to buy some of our tools and resources. The information you provide enables us to identify which products you are eligible to access and purchase.

Terms and conditions of sale
EIT (Early Intervention Tools Ltd) reserves the right to amend details, prices, packaging, and withdraw products without prior notice. EIT (Early Intervention Tools Ltd) also reserves the right to amend publishing release dates for new resources.

Payment terms are 30 days net from the invoice date. Please notify us of queries on our invoices immediately, quoting the invoice number.

Claims for non-delivery, shortage, or damage should be made in writing, quoting the account and invoice numbers: (a) within 3 days of receipt for shortage or damage, and (b) within 21 days of the invoice for non-delivery.

With all queries/claims to our Customer Support and Advisory Service, invoice numbers should be quoted. Please note that we are unable to accept returns, unless faulty, after 14 days of receipt.

Ownership of goods
It is a condition of sale that ownership of goods shall not pass to the buyer until payment is received by the Company. Some of our products contain photocopiable materials; however, until full payment is received, all photocopy restrictions remain in force. If payment is not received within a reasonable period, the Company may repossess the unpaid-for goods.

Copyright
The contents of this website are exclusively owned and controlled by EIT (Early Intervention Tools Ltd) or its affiliates. You are not permitted to reproduce, adapt, or store in any medium any part of its content. 
It is also not permissible to use tools or other methods for the purpose of data gathering, mining, or extraction by any means without written permission from EIT (Early Intervention Tools Ltd).

To be published items
Some items can be bought prior to their publication date as a pre-order on our website. This will mean your order will be dispatched following the publication date. If you are selecting physical items, you can select a shipping charge according to your preference. However, your items will only be dispatched following the publication date, not the date your order was placed. Orders for digital items will also only be dispatched via email following the publication date. If you are paying by invoice, you will not be invoiced until these items have been published. If you are paying by credit card, we will take the payment right away.

Prices
Although we try to ensure that all prices are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of your order, we will notify you as soon as possible. You will have the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling. If we are unable to contact you, we will refund you in full. We reserve the right to change our prices without notice.

Your order
We accept orders at our discretion, and all orders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by your payment card issuer. It is your responsibility to ensure the details you provided are correct and complete. When placing your order online, your card/debit card will be debited when you click the order button. We will acknowledge your order by sending you an email. The email will confirm the cost and delivery details or notify you if the goods are unavailable. If we do not accept your order and your credit/debit card has already been debited, we will notify you and refund your card in full. Goods are subject to availability.

Force majeure
Where there is a delay or failure to deliver goods, or where damage or defect has occurred to goods that is due to circumstances beyond our control, EIT (Early Intervention Tools Ltd) shall not be liable. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns
Returns are not accepted once any single licence from an order has been used with a child to screen or test. If you wish to request a return, please email on info@alpaca-assessment.com, giving your invoice date and number, school roll number, ALPACA lead and reason for return. Goods returned must be in 'resalable condition'. Unauthorised returns and returns after 14 days of invoicing will not be accepted.

Customers who are VAT exempt or zero-rated must provide copies of appropriate documentation, endorsed by Customs & Excise, in order for VAT not to be charged on consumable products.

Changes to terms and conditions and website
EIT (Early Intervention Tools Ltd) reserves the right to make changes to its Terms and Conditions and its website. By placing an order on the website, you accept EIT (Early Intervention Tools Ltd)'s Terms and Conditions and will be subject to those in force at the time of your order. If, for any reason, any of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid, void, or unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition shall not be affected.

Law
This agreement is governed by Irish law. You hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, notwithstanding the jurisdiction where you are based.

Limitation of liability
Subject to any relevant consumer protection legislation, including our obligation under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations) to give you a refund if you cancel your contract in advance of using any licences provided or if we do not perform the contract within 30 days or to the agreed timescale, our liability for any breach of these terms and conditions shall be limited to the value of the goods ordered by you in the relevant transaction.
